Our Campaign’s Top Issues

Nebraskans deserve to feel safe and confident in making their voices heard.

There are so many things that fall under the purview of the office of the Secretary of State, from elections to international trade to civic education. These three areas have the most room for improvement.

  • Public Trust
  • Business Growth

  • Voter Education

Public Trust

From tossing out ballot initiative petition signatures to releasing our sensitive voter data to the federal government the public's trust in the Secretary of State's office is at an all-time low.

Following the laws and the will of the people are not optional or up for interpretation. The citizens of Nebraska deserve more respect than they have been given by the SoS lately.

Business Growth

Small businesses are the backbones of Nebraska's many small communities. Our farmers rely on good international trade relations to sell their crops overseas.

Both are so important in the efforts to keep our incredibly talented, Nebraska grown young people right here at home, instead of settling and raising their families elsewhere.

Voter Education

I firmly believe that everyone who is eligible to vote has a civic responsibility to do so. But voting can be intimidating or confusing for folks.

From ever-changing voting precinct locations to Nebraska's newly instituted Voter ID Law, there are lots of voting information gaps that need attention.
